Cat is in demand as a backing singer and multi-instrumentalist having performed and recorded with Steely Dan, David Bowie, Paul Simon and Jackson Browne to name a few, but with the success of her own releases, including her recent 5th album, "Bring It Back" it seems her backing days are behind her.

LA SANTA CECELIA

La Santa Cecelia  just won the Grammy for Beast Alternative Latin Band. Their music exemplifies the modern day creative hybrid of Latin culture, rock and world music. The six member group draws inspiration from cumbia, bossa nova, bolero, tango, rock, jazz and klezmer music. Their influences range from Miles Davis to The Beatles, Led Zeppelin to Janis Joplin and Mercedes Sosa to Ramon Ayala. Their common love of music and openness to all genres led them to the concept of La Santa Cecilia in 2007 – named after the patron saint of musicians.
